We pack all our Jed's coffee fresh right after roasting, using our industry leading pack line to remove oxygen from the bag, giving you a fresh brew every day!

For all our fresh coffee produced in Auckland, we use the function of the one-way Aroma Fresh Valve™. You can see them on the front of the packs. They let the carbon dioxide out - preventing oxygen from entering the pack. Carbon dioxide is released naturally while roasting coffee beans. This release continues for 2 days after roasting.

We pack freshly roasted beans and grinds as soon as possible and the valve helps us lock in freshness - releasing carbon dioxide.

Jed's Coffee is gluten free. Coffee originally does not contain gluten and there is no gluten processed at our factories.

Yes, Jed's coffee is by nature suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We do not add any dairy ingredients.

Since we want to provide the best for our customers - we use the natural decaffeination process.

We use water processed decaffeinated coffee, which decaffeinates the coffee through a chemical-free process.  This allows the green coffee to retain more of its natural flavours without the risk of taking on any flavours or taints.

Our Freeze Dried coffee is the perfect option when you don't have a moment to spare.

Freeze Dried coffee locks in the aroma and flavour of the bean, producing a great real coffee taste, compared to regular instant coffee.

Arabica coffee is grown at high altitude and generally produces one crop per year, while Robusta coffee can grow as low as at sea level and produces multiple crops per year.  Arabica shrubs are less hardy than Robusta shrubs and as such are more susceptible to pests, fungus and disease. Arabica coffees tend to be lighter, brighter and more acidic, while Robusta coffees tend to be bigger, bolder and more intense. We love them both!
